Privacy policy

Short version: we collect what we need to call you back about your project, we do not sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Who we are

Excove Builders, a licensed California general building contractor, CSLB #1123274, based in Rodeo, CA 94572. You can reach us at (510) 407-3343 or excovebuilders@gmail.com.

What we collect, and when

We only collect information you type into the estimate form or send us directly. There is no account to create and nothing to sign up for.

• Required: your name, phone number, and the type of work you want.
• Optional: your city, email address, and a description of the project.
• Context about the request: which page the form was submitted from and the site that referred you. We use this to understand which pages are useful, not to build a profile of you.

We do not ask for and do not want payment-card numbers, bank details, Social Security numbers, or copies of identification. Do not send those through this form.

Why we collect it

To call you back, schedule a walkthrough, and prepare a written estimate. That is the whole purpose. We keep a record of the enquiry so that if you call again months later we know what we discussed.

Who it is shared with

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with advertisers or lead brokers. It is handled by the services we use to run the business:

• Netlify — hosts this website and receives form submissions.
• Airtable — where the enquiry is stored so it is not lost.
• Google (Gmail) — if we email you about your project.

If a licensed subcontractor needs your address to quote part of the work, we tell you first. We would not hand your details to a trade you have not agreed to.

Cookies and tracking

This site runs no advertising network, social pixel or lead-broker tracker, and it never will — we do not advertise. It does use Google Analytics so we can see which pages people find useful.

Nothing is stored on your device until you say yes. Analytics is switched off by default: until you accept on the banner, no analytics cookie is written and only an anonymous page count is sent. Decline, and it stays off. Your choice itself is remembered in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie, so declining does not quietly set something.

The detail — what is set if you accept, what it is called, how long it lasts — is on the cookie policy.

Your choices

Email us at excovebuilders@gmail.com and ask, and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. No form, no process — just ask. If you want us to stop contacting you, say so and we will stop.

We keep enquiry records for three years, which covers the period in which someone typically comes back about work discussed earlier, and then delete them.

Children

This is a service for homeowners. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes we update the date at the top. We will not apply a change retroactively to information already collected without telling you.
